Review - Dr.Jart+ Cellwake Regenerating Emulsion

Hari ini aku mau sharing tentang satu produk dari Dr Jart+, yaitu Cellwake Regenerating Emulsion. Produk ini adalah pelembap kulit dari seri Cellwake dari Dr Jart+. Ini adalah pertama kalinya aku mencoba skincare dari Dr Jart+. Dr Jart+ adalah brand kosmetik yang berasal dari Korea yang didirikan oleh Dr. Sung Jae Jung dan Lee Jin Wook sejak tahun 2004. Dr Sung Jae Jung ini seorang dermatologist alias dokter ahli kulit, jadi produk-produknya pun sudah tentu diramu dengan baik oleh ahlinya. 

Rangkaian produk Cellwake memang dikhususkan untuk membantu mengatasi tanda-tanda penuaan. Rangkaiannya terdiri dari toner, serum, lotion, eye cream, dan cream yang bisa digunakan secara simultan atau sesuai dengan kebutuhan kulit kamu. Jadi mungkin buat kamu yang berusia di bawah 25 tahun, produk ini bisa dijadikan pilihan untuk perawatan anti aging. 

Yang jadi jagoan di dalam seri Cellwake ini adalah CW-210^TM. CW-210^TM ini bukan robotnya Luke Skywalker ya, tapi sebuah zat yang dapat mencegah penuaan dini dengan cara mengoptimalkan regenerasi sel kulit dan juga menambah kolagen. Berikut ini adalah beberapa kandungan utama dari Cellwake Regenerating Emulsion:

CW-210^TM – Berfungsi untuk mengoptimalkan regenerasi sel kulit dan meningkatkan produksi kolagen.

Carnosine Peptide – Berfungsi sebagai anti glycator yang mencegah kolagen menjadi kaku agar kerutan tidak terjadi.

Evening Primrose Extract -  Mengandung fatty acids yang baik untuk kulit.

Royal Jelly – Membantu meningkatkan elastisitas dan mencerahkan kulit.

Licorice – Membantu mencerahkan kulit

Korean Herbal Root – Membantu menstimulasi dan membersihkan kulit.

Ceramide 3 – Membantu melembapkan kulit secara bertahap. 

Kemasannya berupa kotak karton putih dengan gambar botol hitam bertuliskan Cellwake Regenerating Emulsion di depannya. Lotion wajah ini berada di dalam botol kaca berwarna hitam. Aku senang dengan pengemasan dalam botol kaca ini karena wadah kaca biasanya lebih baik dalam menampung produk. Kandungan dalam produk jadi lebih stabil apalagi jika warna botolnya gelap, yang berarti produk juga tidak akan mudah rusak jika terkena sinar matahari. Selain itu, yang aku suka lagi dari kemasannya adalah Cellwake Emulsion ini menggunakan pump! Aku tidak perlu colek-colek pakai spatula atau menuangkan produk secara manual ke tangan aku.  Lebih higienis dan aman kan? 

Tekstur lotionnya sangat ringan, tidak terlalu kental dan padat. Warnanya putih susu. Dua kali pump cukup untuk aku gunakan di seluruh wajah dan leher. Aku paling tidak suka dengan pelembap wajah yang terasa lengket kalau dipakai, walaupun kalau untuk krim malam, aku masih oke karena toh aku bawa tidur. Tapi kalau untuk pelembap pagi atau siang, wah aku biasanya pasti akan memilih krim atau lotion yang tidak terlalu lengket di wajah agar wajah tidak terlalu terasa ‘berat’ seharian. Nah, Cellwake Regenerating Emulsion ini menurutku cocok untuk digunakan pagi dan malam karena teksturnya sangat ringan dan tidak meninggalkan rasa lengket di wajah. Kamu akan mencium ada sedikit aroma herbal seperti yang aku cium pada saat pemakaian produk Sulwhasoo, namun di produk Sulwhasoo aromanya lebih kuat dibandingkan dengan Cellwake Emulsion ini. Tidak perlu khawatir akan terganggu dengan aroma lotion ini karena baunya akan segera hilang sesaat setelah diaplikasikan. Kalau aku sih suka ya dengan aromanya hehehe..

Hasilnya bagaimana? Setelah mencoba Cellwake Regenerating Emulsion ini selama hampir 2 minggu, aku bisa bilang kalau kulitku sepertinya suka dan cocok dengan produk ini. Puji Tuhan juga produk ini tidak membuat wajahku jerawatan dan tidak ada efek purging sama sekali. Kulitku terasa lebih kenyal dan lembap pada saat penggunaan produk secara rutin pagi dan malam. Mengingat tekstur lotionnya yang sangat ringan di wajah, awalnya aku tidak terlalu berharap banyak akan janji bahwa lotion ini dapat melembapkan dan meregenerasi sel kulit dengan baik. Tapi ternyata Cellwake Regenerating Lotion benar-benar menepati janjinya dengan memberikan kulitku kelembapan yang aku butuhkan. Di siang hari, aku merasa kalau wajahku tuh adem dan tidak kering. Di malam hari walaupun aku tidur dengan AC sampai pagi hari, kulit tidak terasa kering sama sekali. Salut banget deh sama lotion ini. Sepertinya zat-zat aktif dalam produk ini bekerja dengan baik sekali untuk membantu kondisi kulit kita. 

Produk ini dikirimkan untuk aku coba lalu review. Seperti biasa, walaupun produk yang aku review ini disponsori, tapi semua opini dan pengalaman yang aku bagikan di blogpost ini adalah pengalaman nyata yang aku alami. Kalau untuk skincare, biasanya aku akan minta waktu 1-2 minggu setidaknya untuk mencoba menggunakannya sehingga benar-benar terlihat dan terasa perbedaan antara sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan produk.

Sulwhasoo Basic Essential Kit

Hello gorgeous! As I promised before on my instagram account a few weeks ago, I will share my experience in trying Sulwhasoo basic skincare set. I am grateful I got the chance to try Sulwhasoo basic skincare set. I got mine from Sulwhasoo counter a while ago by reposting their picture on my account. It is a small sample, honestly it did not enough for me to give or show you considerable changes on my skin since the application of the skincare. But at least, by using it for 1-2 weeks, I could try and see if it agrees with my skin. I have not changed my skincare for the last 5 years. Yes, there are some trial here and there, but I always come back to my basic skincare which is from SK II (you can read my skincare regime here). But now, along with my beauty addiction adding up, I have more knowledge about more products worth to try. 

Sulwhasoo has been capturing my interest with its holistic approach skincare by not only using natural ingredients but they also pay attention on the method of the production; a Korean traditional heritage.

The set contains of a sachet of Gentle Cleansing Foam, a sachet of First Activating Care Serum, a vial of Essential Balancing Water, and a vial of Essential Balancing Emulsion. The cleanser and the serum lasted for 5 days (used twice a day) and the vials lasted for around 2 weeks (used twice a day). Please note that the duration here is what I experienced and I have small face so I did not have to put a lot amount of product on my face.   

 

I follow the instructions inside the packaging of the kit. 

First, I started with cleansing my face with the cleansing foam. It is in clear liquid form and I usually created the foam by adding a little bit of water after I dispensed it on my hand. Lather it all over your face and neck then rinse with water. I am happy that the cleansing foam did not make my skin dry. 

After preparing my skin with SK II Facial Clear Lotion as a toner, I continued it with the First Activating Care Serum, which is their best seller. The serum is a boosting serum that claims can boost up your other skincare products to its optimal result. It is said that it helps to maintain your skin moisture and balance it so your other skincare will be absorbed optimally by the skin. The serum color is golden brown and the texture is light. Apply it to your face and massage your face a little bit and warm it up by wrapping your face with your palm at the end of the application.

The next step is the Essential Balancing Water that acts as balancer and delivers deep hydration. I love how it felt on my skin. The gel-like texture is absorbed by my skin well, leaving it so hydrated and I felt that it soothe my skin down. 

The last step is Essential Balancing Emulsion. This is a moisturizer that is formulated with Korean herbs to make a softer and smoother skin. It is a very light moisturizer; the texture is not creamy, it glides and absorbed easily by the skin too. But even though it’s light, my skin felt soft and hydrated well after the application. You can add another layer of moisturizer if you felt that the emulsion is not enough to hydrate your skin. 

All of the products mentioned have herbal ginseng-ey scent that I found lovely. It is calming and soothing. But I understand that not everybody fond of a scent (or an herbal scent) in their skincare, especially when you have a sensitive skin.  I would suggest to trying them out first on the counter or asking for some samples to bring home. 

So, what is the verdict? I love it!

I am very glad that my skin did not acting out and no breakout at all during the trial *phewww*. My skin felt soft and smooth during the trial. It is a great basic skincare set which you can tweak here and there by adding other products such as serums or moisturizers to layer around. It will work wonderfully for you who have normal to combination skin. Will I purchase the full size products? I might, maybe after I finished my current skincare. 

Last week, Sulwhasoo just launched their newly improved First Activating Care Serum EX. Unfortunately, I did not have the time to go there and try them out. It is said that its new formula is able to deliver better results due to the upgraded JAUM Balancing Complex^TM with Sulwhasoo’s proprietary technology to take the benefits of medicinal herbs to a higher level.
