Unboxing - Sociolla Box April

Welcome back to my monthly unboxing post for Sociolla Box!

My subscription for Sociolla Box actually ended this month and I was still contemplating if I should top up my subscription or not. But April box definitely made the decision for me. I still want to get surprises every month, I still want to open a so called present for myself hahaha.. Especially this April, I was quite excited receiving my Sociolla Box. Why? You will see yourself when you see what’s inside the box. So, let’s just start it, yes?

Inside the pink box I got five products this month. Two full sized and three sample sizes.

EMK Beverly Hills Anti Aging Face Serum (Sample)

I am so thrilled to get a full size Avene Spring Water Spray. I have been wanted to try it for a long time but still unsure to get it or not, so I’m glad that Sociolla slip it in April beauty box. I’m also happy to see EMK Beverly Hills and IOMA inside this pink box. Both brands are high end brands and I heard good things about them, so I’m really excited to try them soon. 

A new local brand, Kedip eyelashes is also inside the box. The name Kedip is wink in English. It is a fake mink lashes with thin tips which makes it looks pretty and natural. The regular price is also very affordable! Another wonderful product to try.

Unboxing - Garnier Light Complete White Speed Super Essence

Last month, I got a big white box with a yellow ribbon from Garnier Indonesia. Apparently it’s a hamper filled with Garnier Light Complete White Speed products. Garnier is going to launch their newest whitening serum called Garnier Light Complete White Speed Super Essence, a concentrated anti-spot whitening serum. Curious of what’s inside the box? Let’s find out together!

The box is from sturdy cardboard and you have to open it like opening a drawer. My box got a little dent on the top due to the shipment, hiks.. so pardon the little flaw on the picture. When I opened it, I could smell a soft scent of lemon from the box. The lemon scent coming from a small yellow lemon candle, so cute! Inside the box, I found 4 products, all from Light Complete White Speed Series. 

The brightening scrub, serum cream, and the super essence (they send me 2 boxes). I have reviewed Garnier White Speed Brightening Scrub and Serum Cream on my blog last year.

And now Garnier has the newest addition to the family which is the Super Essence, a concentrated anti-spot whitening serum. This serum claims to help reduce the skin darkening from melanin just within 6 days. Sounds awesome, yes? And a perfect timing too since the sun has been scorching hot lately. I hope that this serum will come to the rescue for discoloration and uneven skin tone. 

I’m going to try on this new serum for 6 days and will update you with the result next week. See, I told you that this is going to be a short post. Wish me luck and stay tune on my blog for the updates!

Unboxing - Sociolla Beauty Box March

It’s that time of the month again where we are going to unbox the beauty box from Sociolla. The moment that I always looking forward to for every month hehehe 

It’s another pink box instead of the white one, so I assumed that the white box is reserved for first month only and will not hope to get another white box in the future. 

Next, let’s get to the content of the box. When I opened the box, I found another cardboard contains the list of the products inside the beauty box along with the description, ingredients, and how to apply. This time it has Beauty Adventure writings on it. 

The first product I saw after the cardboard is My Beauty Diary Mask Sheet in Hyaluronic Acid. This is a new product that Sociolla just started to sell last month. A lot of people love this mask because it’s easy to use and the price is also not too expensive. I personally have tried them before and I also love it! The next one is a sachet of Nuxe Le Prodigieux Le Parfum. I thought usually perfume samples will be in vial form, but not this perfume, so, I wonder how am I going to store the remaining perfume after I opened the sachet? 

Another sachet comes within the box, which is Babor Cleansing CP Gel & Tonic 2in1. I never tried this brand before and haven’t heard a lot of review about it. Did some googling and found out that Babor is a skincare brand made in Germany, founded by Dr Michael Babor (hence the name). It has been around for 50 years and has a mission to give an outstanding results and a uniquely luxurious, indulgent experience. Anybody has experience with Babor before? Leave me a comment below please!  

The last item in the box is Polka Matteness Lip Lacquer in Marracas. I’m so excited with this one! First, it’s because I never tried matte lipstick before and second, because I heard many good things about this product. Marracas is mauve rose colour that I believe will suit many skin colours aka a natural and safe shade for everybody. Cannot wait to try it!

Unboxing - Sociolla Box February

As we know, February is the month of love, a month where we celebrate love. How is your month so far? Any event or moment in this month that you cherish or grateful about? 

After a little hiatus on January to enjoy some downtime after moving to the new house, February is the time to step things up again. For me (and my family), February is a busy month. Pardon me if I haven't got a lot of time to update this blog. I have some projects going on related to my personal projects (beauty and sweets related) and our family project. And we have many things to celebrate this month too! There was Lunar New Year and Valentine, and next week is my hubby’s birthday and our open house for the family. So basically, it’s party and hustling this month hahaha.. But I’m grateful for every moment of it, to be able to share and spread the love (and enjoy some loving too from the family). 

Today, I’m going to share Sociolla’s love by posting the content of Sociolla February Box that I got a week ago. The box of happiness came in Sociolla’s signature pink box, unlike the month before (the sturdy white box). I wonder is it because of Valentine? Let’s see what March box going to be like next month to see if my assumption is right or not. Well, aside from the packaging matter, this month’s box is actually a lovely one. 

The first thing I saw when I opened the box is a pink cardboard with writing on it, Share The Love. Inside the cardboard, there are list of the items inside the box along with the description of the product, its ingredients list, how to use, and why Sociolla chose it. We did not have this on the previous box and I think it is a great idea! It helps us to understand more about the product and how to apply it correctly. 

Another surprise greeted me in a form of cute heart shaped cookies inside the box, adding more sweetness to this month’s box. As usual, all the products are individually wrapped in bubble wrap to keep it intact.

Five products total inside the box with two of them are full size products. The worth of the products is almost 400.000 IDR, definitely a great value for the subscribers. The one that interest me the most is the Menard Exstretch Mask and Juara Clove Flower & Turmeric Anti-aging Serum. Will do a review later after I tried them.
